to the LA Lupus Lady for doing her thing, again! She really inspires me and I am so thankful that she gets out there, tirelessly I might add, and is promoting every event and every chance to raise money and awareness for lupus. I posted last month about the event that’s still come in November, right here. Not quite here, and not quite here, but-right-here. Does anyone get that reference? Anytime I say ‘right here’ it pops into my head and usually out of my mouth complete with hand gestures, ahhh, I’m a movie geek.
Without further ado, here’s the video and thank you LA Lupus Lady!!!
Another night of no sleep. Sleep is my enemy, I wanna be your friend Mr. Sleep!! It seems like lately I’m nodding off to sleep during the day or I’m not sleeping at all for a couple of days. Dr. is useless when it comes to this issue. My Ambien just quit working. Either my body has become completely tolerant to it or, well, that’s the only thing I can think of. He prescribed me Lunesta, the med with the vewy pwetty butterfly fluttering softly over the lady’s face as she drifts off to sleep….ahhhh. Nope. Lunesta gave me no resta. Not only that, but when I swallowed it I got THE most foul taste in my mouth. Ever. It was there a day and a half later and 25 tooth brushings later. Nothing could get rid of that mungmouth. It was unbelievable. I actually dug the paperwork out of the trash and read the possible side effects and close to the top was ‘bad taste in mouth’. Understatement of the year. I don’t know if I could take it even if it promised me 8 glorious hours. Well, I got absolutely nothing accomplished this sleepless night either. Something is wrong with this computer. Almost each time I type or click anything, my cursor freezes up and the wheel just a keeps on spinnin. My brother swore up and down that Macs just don’t get viruses like PC’s do so I went through anything and everything that I recently installed and uninstalled it. Nada. I don’t want to have to put it in the shop, I can’t live without my trusty laptop. I mean, untrusty laptop. OK, that’s it for me. I’m just rambling to ramble. I can’t wait for the Big C and the bean to get up so I have some company. I’m allmooost tempted to make noise…but that would be just plain mean on a Sunday morning. Wouldn’t it otc viagra?
I really hate when I look at the dates on here and see that it’s been 2 weeks since I’ve been around. It just reminds me of how sick I’ve been. These last few months have probably been the hardest on my body and my family since I became sick.
Good news inserted here~I’m a gramma again!! Woo hooo!!! She is the most beautiful miniature bean I’ve ever seen. And boy can she cry, she sounds like a little squealing pig!! Her big sister is still getting used to the idea of having someone smaller and louder around than her…
When my daughter went into labor I had the flu. She came into our room at 4:30 and the morning and crumpled on the bed and said it was time. I was like, uh, no… I’m sick and haven’t showered in a few days, baby isn’t coming now!!! We skipped our morning coffee and brushing our teeth, ug, and got outside to get into the car. She had a really big contraction and doubled over and screamed at us, we weren’t going fast enough. If we were going any faster we would’ve just floated from the bed to the car. The hospital is only 15 minutes away during the day in traffic and we got there in about 8 minutes. We just left the car in front of the birthing center and she couldn’t get out of the car. Baby’s head was right there. So the Big C reached in and lifted her out and we ran into the building, yelled out her name to the poor woman at the L&D desk who’s eyes were like a deer in the headlights (we find out later she was just breaking the guy that normally worked that desk) and jumped in the elevator. By the time we got the the 4th floor, they were waiting for us and we got her into the bed, the doctor walked in and before he could even get set up baby was coming out. It was about 4 pushes and she was here!!! Little bean weighed 6lb 9 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. She is amazing!
