Dear Lana and Miss Waxie,
Thanks so much for checking in on me-makes me feel loved!! I had to take a break from all things computer for the most part. Been sick as all get out. My body is getting better, it's taking my mind a little bit to catch up. I'm practicing positive thinking ALL THE TIME. That's really hard ;0)
love and hugs to you guys

Hi, I found your blog via LivingRheum.

I have coeliac disease (gluten intolerance), psoriatic arthritis (like rheumatoid) and lymphoedema. I originally started my blog to write about my life with all of the above but it somehow evolved to be something different. Some of my posts are about illness though.

Would love to to drop by and to come by here again too.

Hey Lana,
Oh man, I would have cried too. What a sweet and caring young man. It sucks that our kids can see right through us, I'm sure your with me when I say I wish that they never ever had to deal with this, seeing mom in pain. Or gramma in my case. But they do, and I'm sure that it's making a mark in what kind of person they will grow up to be. One with empathy, and that is really a great thing to have.

Thanks for being there for me hun. I wish for better days for you too

I tried to leave a comment for the Zoloft Sandwich post and keeping getting and error message so I am posting my response to that one here. SORRY if there several duplicates!

Anyways, I know how you are feeling.

My nine year old recently told one of his teachers that he knows that his mom’s bones hurt and that he wished that they didn’t. He also wondered if there was a medicine that would stop them hurting and if there isn’t, perhaps, when he is older, he could invent one. I got all teary-eyed when the teacher told me. I broke down and cried when I was alone.

Fibromyalgia and RA have robbed of so much and sometimes, I feel like it is my nine year old that is hurting because of it. I try really hard to show him I strong I am, but he can see rigth through me. He knows me better than I know myself.

I hope for remission too but I have forgotten what normal feels like. I have felt sick and sore for so long (and years w/out diagnosis) that I do not remember normal.

Hoping for better days for you sweetie.

Many hugs to you!
